I think part of that is going to fix itself as these top teams (who bought all the great trainees) train these guys up to high levels, and make their own higher salaries. I imagine they will train guys as high as possible to compete in the very lucrative league that is the NBBA.
Also, I think a lot of us are focusing too much on the top teams. There are 23,000 active teams right now in about 65 countries, which equates to 1040 total teams in their country's top league. That is less than 5% of the total userbase. Obviously the 95% have far more money and economic power to shift the market than the 5%, no matter how much cash they're raking in each week.
