Do skills decrease in effectiveness once they’re over 20? For example is going from 20 to 21 going to be less effective than going from 19 to 20?

Even if the calculation logic is different for >20 and <=20 skills, teams ratings (greatly increased by >20 skills) are supposed to effect every situation on court. Is this not the case?

Since this is turning out to be a very controversial answer and I feel I could have done a better job writing it, here's the question, answer and correction:

A: -I'm dangerously close to revealing too much here but personally, I'd say no, it's not. There might be specific situations where this might give you that "edge" that gives you a victory in a very close match but these are super rare.

Correction: The simple answer is that there is a noticeable difference between skill level 20 and 23, so yes, this training will not be in vain, especially in at highest levels of competitions (NT matches, etc...). As levels progress, differences between them become smaller and smaller but still, there are differences!

Hope this clears things up at least a little bit.

What percentage difference is there between a triple and a normal shot for the same scoring player and the same defender with the same match tactics?

I think if you asked the B3 champion or a top NT manager, they would tell you that skills above 20 are very beneficial to success.

There is not a different calc in the GE for skills >20.
