The Buckner Bandits did exactly what was expected this weekâcruising to victories over two struggling Big 8 squads. They dismantled the Saxons on the road with a 98â69 win, then followed it up with a home blowout against the Lady Tigers 901, dropping a season-high 126 points in a 52-point rout.
âWe did what we were supposed to do,â said the coaching staff. âThese were games we couldnât afford to drop if we want to stay on top.â
With these wins, the Bandits remain in 1st place in the Great 8, holding a strong 9â1 record heading into a pivotal stretch.
