Yeah, this sure looks like a competitive starting five, but not one to win the Play-Offs series. Anyways, the Nets has shut the negotiations since a long time now. Melo still doesn't know where he is heading. Only future will tell...

Nets shut down negotiations because Nuggets ask too much, and Melo seems that want to go to the Knicks...probably it's too late to convince him that at the Knicks the team would still be behind the top 3-4 teams in the est(If Chicago find a decent guard, they would be ahead of the Knicks with Melo-Amare)...I would try a last second offer with Murphy and Vujacic expirings and Favors or this year 1st round pick,if they want more, they could lose melo at the end of season for nothing(like Bosh's deal)

Is it worth for the Lakers? Bynum have a major role in Los Angeles. His absence weights on the "bad" results gained by the Lakers in this regular season.

Melo to Lakers for Bynum?

Just exists to send a panic through the Knicks.

It'd never happen.

Perhaps! But Mitch Kupchak says he was unhappy Lakers current performances... No matter Melo or not, the two-time defending champions' are going to move their "pawn" anyways.

Melo to Lakers for Bynum?

The Lakers are yet too short on the rotations of the big mans, they can trade Bynum for melo only if they can trade Artest for a good big mand...but what kind of big man are available on the market with that contract?I just don't see itt happen

Agree....I think they'd be better off trading Artest and upgrading at SF.

How can they improve at SF?What SF with a 6 mio contract can improve them over Artest? They were also unluck because they signed a beast like Barnes that got injured, but will come back before playoffs

Not sure....you never know though...look at the Pau Gasol trade. Stranger things have happened.
