Awesome. There's nothing better than making a short-term purchase of a 230k PF and then forgetting to insert him in your lineup. And of course in an away game in which I TIE. And then seeing that I still had the edge in PP100 but lost quite handily is the cherry on top. Damn.

level 6? wow.

I guess they're pretty cheap upfront, what's your typical replacement time-table?

I always saw doctors as the first line of defense on injury. The higher level reduces the severity down to even no injury.

Massage is always great. I've never tried Taping - I think I saw someone in the NBBA with it (maybe SB?)...

>>Doctors help reduce the severity of player injuries. Once a player is injured, a Doctor will also help him heal more quickly, but the effect is much smaller than the initial reduction in severity. Doctors can have the following specialties:
Taping Injuries: There is a small chance that a player's minor injury can be taped up immediately, and he will be able to return to the game at the start of the next quarter.
Massage: Players who play too many minutes in a given week will not experience as severe a drop in game shape.

I think he's saying that the level does affect how many injuries you get. I agree

Interesting, I've had docs w/ massage in the past and was never impressed. Maybe should revisit.

Yes, this is my take on doctors:

1) I don't think docs influence #1 - I think it is due to the random "hacking / aggressiveness" factor. You get hacked by one of those guys, you get hurt. I used to have a draftee who was magical in hurting other players. He even hurt an (Un) Lucky Fan.

2) I think a doc can reduce the injury (say a level 4 hack down to level 1 injury) immediately. If the injury goes to 0 then the guy is out of the game, but can play in the next game. Taping seems to be an independent chance of curing the injury during the game, regardless of doctor level.

3) Yes, a higher level doc helps heal faster. Not by much, but apparently it helps. However, even a day may help to get the guy back onto the court in time for one more game in that week.
