If he can manage to beat HCA then I'd go with ESV Laim also as the new winner

I think Laim and djembe will be a great game and the only sure thing is the Bulls in the final. No hca means no chance for the Devils hehehe. The thing is my team's coach is a notorious drunk and being able to wake him up 5 minutes before the game in a local bar and drag him to the court is a must.

Anyway I also agree that HCA should be removed from the B3. Every game should be played in the same way that the semis are now. I understand the argument that the results can't be too predictable and that you want to have some random factor involved, but I believe this random factor needs to be very small and embedded in the actual game engine (like in any basketball game in which some times the better team loses), but should not have anything to do with the HCA draw.

It was fun so far though. :D

I see our game as a tossup - not sure how you see it any other way.

You are free to throw in the towel and play all Lucky Fans though if you want.

But before we conclude that HCA has really run away, maybe we should see how things end up playing out. The same people who are predicting four home wins would probably have told us that Dragons Back would be eliminated several rounds ago, after all. It's usually better to evaluate the success of a competition after it has completed than it is to try and do so in the middle.

The HCA portion of the tournament is done. What say you now? :)

this is my idea for new B3 format:

Qualifying rounds: In matches in the two qualifying rounds will have 128 teams (96 nations champions + 32 best teams from B3 ranking which wins the nations cup) playing in two-game series (home and away) - 4 weeks, the winners of which will advance to the group stage.

Group stage: The clubs are split into eight groups of four teams, who play home and away against each of their pool opponents between 5th and 10th week to decide which one team from each pool advance to the quarterfinal.

Knockout phase: The four quarterfinals will meet in single-game on neutral ground until the final (11th-13th week)

This is more attractive format for me. What are your opinions managers?
