I had something similar last season; with 4 games to play I was locked in as the 2 seed with no way to move up or down. I very seriously considered tanking a game on purpose to make sure a certain team got relegated but I didn't feel right about it, and they ended up losing their relegation series anyway so it didn't matter.

Looks like I am going down, even thought I have pretty good team.

Tough season for our conference. Everyone was a competitor.

Beware of dogs made an important addition after our match. I am also looking for a piece that can match that... You ruined my perfect season record and now my only option to promote is to win the championship! Hopefully I will find the right guy or else I might not get another chance to promote.

Yeah I did the roster change with your team specifically in mind but I don't think I close the gap enough though. I barely won our last game at home. If we both make it to the Finals, you will have HCA ... and that is hard to overcome. Anyhow, even if you don't win, you have a high chance of taking one of the 4 auto promotion spots with the 18-1 record.

I checked the other leagues and my standings are not even close enough for the last 4 spots. HCA unless I lose one more game. I'm just sad that I'm selling Goran, I wanted to keep him as my sixth man for the next season if I promoted.

On the contrary, your chance of getting promoted is very high. Just don't throw any of your last 3 games. Most of these guys (including you) are favorite to win their promotion out right. If not, you really only need a little over half of them to win their leagues.

You are right. For some reason I was thinking they are all competing for the last 4 spots. I did some miscalculation. Oh boy, now I'm regretting selling Govan.

That is if I go 21-1. I realized that too late and if I end up with players that I want to buy, they're injured between 1-2 week. I might lose at least 1 games out of my last 3 without my starting PF.
