We will start with the Big 8

#1 Mighty Moose Rockets vs #4 Dark Matter

While it has been confirmed that Xuan will miss tomorrow's game, Mighty Moose won both games this season, both on less effort.

Dark Matter has the 2nd highest-rated offense this season averaging 110.3 pts per game while shooting over 45% on the season. Meanwhile Mighty Moose has the highest rated defense, giving up 71.3 pts per game, a full 13 points better than any other team and have held their opponents to 30% shooting on the season.

Mighty Moose is my overall favorite for the whole playoffs, and a loss here would be an upset in my book.

#2 Slashing Dragons vs #3 Archers of Loafcross

Archers won both games in this series, including a 1 pt win on the road, and a double digit win at home on less effort.

Archers had the 3rd highest-rated offense averaging 105.6 pts per game while shooting 45.8% on the season. Archers also has the 4th best defense on the season. Meanwhile the Dragons have the 3rd highest-rated defense giving up 84.8 pts per game and holding opponents to 35.7% shooting.

These two teams are pretty evenly matched, and normally I would give the advantage to the home team, but with the H2H record this season and Archers near perfect GS, this seems like this Archers game to lose.

Now the Great 8

#1 Rashmonsters vs #4 Evergreen Xenos

Rashmonsters won both games by double digits this season on even effort.

Rashmonsters has the 2nd best defense giving up 84.6 pts a game and holding opponents to 37.9% shooting. Xenos is middle of the pack in alot of statistics, but part of that is due to the long cup run they had this season.

While Evergreen will put up a better game than the stats would indicate, Rashmonsters team seems too much for them to overcome.

#2 Drunken Sconnies vs #3 Bananahorns

Drunken Sconnies won both matchups this season by 30 pts or more, but Bananahorns did not always put forth their best team.

Drunken Sconnies lead the league shooting 47% from the field as a team. Bananhorns, like Evergreen, was middle of the pack statistically, but their team definitely got better as the season went on.

Bananhorns feels like a good upset pick here, mostly because of their experience, but I think the Sconnies have enough of their own and just a better team, so they are my favorite in this game.

GG Dragons. Your team shut the door when I made my run this time.

Thanks! I was getting flashbacks as I saw the lead dwindle, so glad the team figured it out this time!

Now I have to find a way to stay competitive with MMR, while short my top salary player

#1 Mighty Moose Rockets vs # 2 Slashing Dragons

Mighty Moose Rockets has won both Head to Head matchups this season and has Home Court Advantage. The last game was a low scoring matchup that the Rockets won by shutting down the Dragons offense in the 4th quarter and turned a 4 point deficit into an 8 point victory.

Defense looks to control this game as well with the Rockets putting up a sensational (12 - medium) Perimeter Defense and the Dragons put up a prolific (11 - high) Perimeter Defense in their Quaterfinals matchups. With the Dragons heading on the road, their defense however will fall even farther behind the Rockets suffocating one.

Whichever team can make the most of their limited opportunities on offense will win this game and with the injury to Braun, the Dragons top big man, that tough task gets even harder.

Perhaps I am biased, but if both teams were at full strength this seemed like a game that could go either way, but with the injury to Braun, it would take a miracle for the Dragons to win.

#1 Rashmonsters vs #2 Drunken Sconnies

Rashmonsters won both Head to Head matchups this season and has Home Court Advantage. The last game Rashmonsters won by double digits and was never in doubt.

Rashmonsters big men serve as a big advantage in any game, and they look to control the paint, both defensively as well as the boards. Sconnies defense is no slouch, but the big question is can they keep up with Rashmonsters offense.

Who will be the hero, Cunrong and the outside offense of the Sconnies, or the 3-headed big monster of the Rashmonsters. My money is on Rashmonsters

#1 Mighty Moose Rockets vs #1 Rashmonsters

The two best teams meet in the finals in what looks to be a excellent series. The Rockets won a tightly contested game at home earlier this season, and like that game, this series looks to be just as close.

Neither team was particularly challenged in their conference finals as both were led by a pretty balanced attack and a suffocating defense. Can Rashmonsters ability to make second chances points carry them to victory? Or will league MVP Cuberas lock down the opposing team?

One injury or a bad game shape update could easily shift the advantage, but I am going to have to pick the Mighty Moose Rockets to win in a close 3 game series
