I took a major risk by letting my willingly giving up my tournament semi againt Joe. My aim is still HCA and championship, but the team has been performing very poorly lately and I'm starting to think I did a major blunder.

Time will tell, but I'm not confident, which is a shame considering how much money this roster costs me :(

After surprisingly facing Asingratitos (for the 4th time this season if I'm right) instead of Minne who had a firm grip on the last play-off spot until the very last match, I'm preparing to fight a player I both admire and envy, my mentos, Joe.

With high TS and HCA I am the favourite, but that doesn't mean much until the end of the match !

Too bad I can't stick with my current form (all starters at 9 !) though Joe has nothing to complaint about this week.

On the other conference, Paros are preparing themselves for a big game against the season's revelation, Buston Archanges. After already cashing in the Cup, and having a very successful first run as NT coach, will mplume continue to surprise us ?

I think that the 4 best teams of this season are in conf final.

Spartans are favorites for the title but there are 3 real underdogs...

Perfect gaming times and yet all my starting 5 (except Veskovic) went - 1 GS.

My poor form costs me probably the final, and a possible title. I had to use GDP in order to increase my odds, a decision I wouldn't have taken otherwise. Maybe that wouldn't have worked out either, but at least I would have had avoided a wrong GDP and fielded a team with similar form.

Very hard to swallow, since there was absolutely no reason for the game to screw up my form - disgusted.

Feel sad for you, but Cowboys are Cowboys... No pity. ;-)

In our conf, it was a close match but my lost was caused by the injury of my SF after 7 minutes: his back-up (my 8th best player) wasn't good enough for a 3-2 zone. But I have a big consolation with the cup so I can't complain too much.

You are the real winner @Mblume, I was very lucky with this injury and my performance was just pathetic...
This is also due to your very strong Team, so CONGRATS again for your amazing achievements this season.
I will have to make some changes for next season in order to maintain my Team at the top level.

And for the Finals without HCA against the Cowboys???? I need a miracle, let's say 2-3 injuries? Can I order this please?

I know, I needed to have at least a comparable GS level to even the odds, and even though victory was less than certain.

If you had beaten me with a similar GS, then ok, I would have simply lost to a better team. But as things turned out I had to take lots of risks. I recon my choice of tactics was very poor, and this is absolutely on me, since you had the upper hand it made little sense for you to use GDP, thus playing inside would have been better.

About predicting inside well as I said I had to take full risks and that didn't pay off. I would have never pulled it through without GDP however.

And that was enough for me to have a chance, I had won 7 of our last 8 games, so I have good reasons to be confident, even without a so big advantage in GS

Of course you do, you have the best team and you know it. I can only win at home and most often I have to drop it, like in season 35 where I faced you the same week I was playing the Cup final, no way I was going to field a good team then.

At least try not to squander this like the Cup. I really regret letting that semi go.
