the world rankings are very strange -- if i beat some DIII by 75 points, then my ranking falls. but losing to the Heroes boosted me some five places in the world rankings. i figure if i lose a half of dozen more times to you, then i could be in the top 10!

Peace is War! Losing is Victory!

I agree. They(the BB's) could most certainly formulate a better algorithm for calculating WR. My rankings have been dropping all season long and I only had the one loss to the Bucks. Most of it due to teams punting. At least I gained a few spots for beating you at home!

Yes... I understand not getting a boost in rankings from beating a team that punted... But I don't understand why the winning team gets punished for playing and beating a team that punted.

Edit: also, punting is a byproduct of their weird game shape management system. For some silly reason they've determined that if a player plays much more than an hour in an entire week he gets fatigued and can't play well... So we have no choice but to punt. So in an effort to manage our team effectively based on their weird rules we then get punished for punting which is pretty much the only way to effectively manage three games in a week.

I think BB has addressed both of these issues by adding in GS management and hair on the sides of the balding young bucs.

LOL.... Lipstick on a pig...

one interesting aspect of the B3 tournament is i get to see a variety of top-notch teams. the team i face this week, the Donkies, is from the Netherlands. Their team salary is over $1,154,000 dollars. And their DMI is over 21 million. the only other team i've ever see with such a DMI was King Drive Ballers many seasons ago, who also topped out at over 21 million. Their arena seats 29,550, but the team dates to season 3, and that may be the reason for that large number. Nevertheless, despite the size, their revenue is only a bit over $400,000 for the last game! they have only one NT player, so i don't see how they are not bleeding money. plus, apropos of comments above about world ranking, they are only ranked 142 (although they started the season ranked 591). anyway, a bit different from what i have seen in the US of A.

Last night was #9 Arizona @ #7 Yorkville

Yorkville didn't play their best team, (semi punt) and we got the road win. So I drop to #10 and Yorkville dropped to #8...I was passed by a D2 team. I would think any victory over an NBBA team is worth more than a victory over a D2 team. Ohhh well :-)

What's 22 million DMI get a guy? A 22 point loss!

thanks for the note. i think the game only proves the theory that HCA > DMI.

Yin and Yang coming up: the champs of Costa Rico, who is ranked a good bit lower than anyone currently in the NBBA, next week, followed by the Venomous Scorpions, who have two world titles and currently rank at about the same level A-Dubs reached at his peak.
