cool, i'll probably get it up to mediocre then at least, I hate having any skill for any player less than mediocre!

I would get his JR to mediocre, and then passing at least to strong. then rotate between inside skills and jump shot. To be honest I dont see any sense in training OD unless you want him to be an SF. you wouldb be better of spending that time on JS/IS/PA

The reason i want to get Outside defence to strong is because i think it will substantially increase the value of the player.

Maybe I'm the alone on this, but I think you paid a bit too much. He was in my conference for a couple seasons and I have faced him a half dozen times, $3 mil was a high price for someone that has trouble breaking a rating of 11.5 in this economy imo. Plus, his age and height will make it a pain to train secondaries.

He is young, has high potential and has 2 seasons of training left. Once i am done with 2 seasons of training i think i could sell him for 6 million so it is a good investment in my opinion.

I think the trend now is to overpay for balanced players and underpay for less balanced players. but nice player, I would get his OD up nonetheless since PF affect your OD rating, some JR+IS, he would be sweet... dont think he could go for 6 mil though.

I just saw a player sell for over 7 million that will be similar to my player in 2 or 3 seasons.

The player was 32 skill points more than my player including stamina and free throw. I think I could get pretty close to that in 3 seasons, and even if I don't, I'm only aiming for 6 million where as he sold for over 7 million. So I think I could get to 6 million in 3 seasons time.

but first the seller could be pretty happy about those 7 mio ;) And secondly this player was maybe one of the best inside SF of the game, besides the PF and at this point very rare to find.
