Well this is How I see the tables come playoff time.
BIG 8.......................GREAT 8
Koops...................... Meateors
Downunder................Crocs
Razzle......................Slammers
Goldfish....................Cowboys


With the big 8 top 2 are easy, Razzle having a game against Bricklayers gives them a certain win and 3rd with it. Goldfish only need to win 1 against Rat or the Knights, which I think they can do, despite the danger in both those teams. In the first round of playoffs Koops will beat Goldfish and Downunder will beat Razzle. Leaving Koops and Downunder to work out who will represent the BIG 8 in the final series. I think the winner of the BIG 8 can win the whole thing.

GREAT 8 is very similar, Meateors and Crocs are easy, and Slammers will take 3rd spot. I think Cowboys will take 4th in the end with a better pts margin than Aussie. They will finish in the same points, I think Aussie will find it hard to win another game this season, where Cowboys will won one more game. With that win will come the points needed to take 4th. Once their the Crocs and I will go into the GREAT 8 Playoffs, and recent history tells me I have the edge over the Crocs.

For the league I think Koops will represent the BIG 8 (not sure why, but giving them the spot due to ladder position) and I will represent the GREAT 8. Hoping I have home court advantage and get the chance to have another shot in the ABBL, then I will probably see you guys again the season after that.

i do not know much about the GREAT 8 side but i know will represent them in the gf.

however on our side the BIG 8, i believe the seedings will be
koops
razzle
goldfish
DT

with DT playing Meteors in the GF

wow, put it out there Holtz! I don't know whether to be offended or agree.
I'll stick with agree.

Crocs only just beat me in the playoffs last year and my SG was injured after 6 min (i clearly haven't forgotten or recovered). But he is a tactical master and has the NT PG, so I don't expect to win, but it will be closer than many think.

I think DT or Razzle will be the Big 8 finalist, not Koops (sorry Koops, noting personal).

as for who goes down...that is anyone's guess!

great work on the predictions and i hope you will be right although there is still a lot of movement left at the bottom

dt is a crazy team and when they actually start trying in the playoffs i dont see anyone beating him in the big8

in the great 8 the top 3 are really strong but dahm, the meateors and in a different league

so gf should be meateors beating dt

the coolcats news is big in a different way

every season each d2 gets a relegated abbl team that kicks butt, not season 15

coolcats will drop to div 4 and an extra div 3 team (best record that didn't win) will promote

so one lucky d2 will get 5 new d3 teams while the rest get 4 d3 and 1 abbl

but the truth does hurt and im afraid, as i predicted, it will be a DT vs meteors grand finals.. unless razzle dazzle can prove us all wrong!! hehehe

koops, I am sorry for offending you - Ii do think you are better than me though if that is any consolation!! no need to CT me, you will win by TIE!! at least you have home court in your favour, which is a massive boost. one that Holtz needs too or else he is toast (ha ha).

injuries may yet play a big part in proceedings. but hopefully not, as it is always good to win because of your own better players/tactics than because of a bloke like Berdomas going down on the banana peel as you say.

Thought I might add my two sense in.

The playoff seedings are still up in the air but talk in these forums predicts a finals series between me and Meateors. Would be nice if I can make it that far again but this year my team hasnt gelled as well as last year. Team chemistry issues!

I am a bit surprised on Razzles recent run of bad luck. 4 losses out of last 5 games is definately not the form you want going into the playoffs. I also hope that injuries do not play a part in the finals run.

slimey03 you are clearly the team to beat on this side of the draw but surely any of you razzy or koop can win on the right day so the final seedings may be vital

it is a huge advantage for whoever has to play me or ypb in the first round rather than one of you three beasts

but good as you guys are it is going to take somehing special to beat the meateors

maybe the best chance is them losing in the sf if they try to PON or play a weaker roster to save up enthusiasm or minutes for the finals

naturally any injury can always change anything

but i stil expect the finals to be meaty over slimey

Not sure why everyone is tipping me for the title, I suppose you like dissapointment.

In my last game to Steve Crocs I lost, and I lost to Downunder and Koops this season also.

According to most people, my biggest 3 threats, who everyone thinks I will beat, all beat me the last time we met.

we are not as naive as you think we are... sure we beat you, but you didnt even try in those games...

I'm sure in the PO the circumstances will be a lot different should you meet those teams again.
