ArchI was going to buy that guy and try to make him into our first 400k guy.
Steeeeeeeve ... I hope after overpaying for him you'll at least train him!

not fair, you called the first 3 timeouts of the game & still won!
but really wasn't even expecting a close game. now if only i had the type of hidden aggressiveness that drew fouls instead of committed them...

on the bright side, my fan survey has actually risen after 2 straight losses. & is higher than after starting 2-0 in the NBBA, or after sweeping the playoffs last season. my fans clearly prefer losing for some reason.

youch. what does it take to win 1 game?

Back to the drawing board. I was hoping for 5th seed, but maybe selling the team, saving money and relegation makes more sense. pity the salary floor is so high, though.

I'd at least wait to see if you can beat Coco with a CT ;)

Yup, winning in the NBBA can be a challenge. You have to protect home court with Normals (and watch out for getting CTed). You have to try and steal a game on the road every once in a while. You have to watch your competition buy $200k US NT players by the handful. All part of the fun!

Selling and relegating is a viable strategy, even with the salary floor. You can pick up a couple high potential decent 21-24 year olds to reach the floor and get a solid season of training for them and clear a couple hundred thousand a week. Or, you can clear off the staff $$ and make even more if you don't care about training at all.

You had some bad luck on the placement - I think the Great 8 will dominate in intra-league competition this season.

sigh, 9-0 in FT attempts 7+ min in. yet another fun evening...
Edit: 12-0 in FT attempts less than 9 min in. outstanding.

I just asked a group of people to talk about Anselmo Elia & his defense. (5792217) They did.

"How about that Anselmo Elia. That's some defense he plays...", said one person. "It sure is!", replied another. "I enjoy talking about Anselmo Elia & his defense", exclaimed a third person. "What is Anselmo Elia?", asked a fourth person. "A liar", I answered.
