Close games shaping up. Mine will depend on who can keep the starters on the floor. My three best bigs all got 3 fouls quickly. His subs suck. Should be an interesting 2nd half. Natellio and TT going at it in what appears to be enthusiasm vs HCA.

Lots of good games. Demon Hoosiers with a big win in a tough away game on equal effort. But was it a normal or a TIE?? Only he and Chicken Hawks know... I got a big win over the Traptors, also on equal effort, but he did have a different lineup than I expected. Nothing surprising happening in the Great 8. Cathar looks to have control of the 2 seed with winnable games ahead of him.

POWER RANKINGS
1. Demon Hoosiers, 21.481
2. Ron Swanson, 19.114
3. Cathar Heretics, 16.655
4. Natellio, 14.879
5. Toronto Traptors, 14.568
6. Chicken Hawks, 9.408
7. The Door Mats, 7.293
8. Lake Charles, 4.314
9. Extra Crispy, 1.411
10. East Gary Eagles, -0.256
11. Bushrods, -2.297
12. Eclypze, -8.333
13. Lengends, -8.770
14. Kentucky Wyldcats, -9.140
15. Real Big Tymerz, -16.037
16. End Of Story, -64.050

Interesting story-lines away from the top teams:

Lake Charles has quietly been on quite a run. They've won 3 straight, and 6 of their last 7 to get them tied for 5th. Three tough game coming up (@Toronto and the two chicken teams at home) will define their season. Winning two of them MAY be enough to grab 5th place out of nowhere.

Similarly, Lengends have gained a 1 game lead for 5th in the Great 8, by winning 3 of their last 4. They've got 3 playoff bound team to finish their season though, they'll need at least one to hang on to that spot I would bet.

One hell of a race in the Big 8. LAK, CHK and EC all play each other in the last 3 weeks and EC has a one game lead over the other 2 but also has the worst point differential. This should be a very exciting finish!

Are we seeing the beginning of a cold war? Out come the bank accounts...

I hate the Big 8.

I also hate III.6.

And all of you with your billions of dollar bills.

Someone please beat the Traptors before the playoffs so I'm at least assured a home game in round 1 (I'm looking at you Stalzag).

Unless Eclypze is able to win out, make the playoffs, and advance, his purchase seems a bad choice to me. Between his attendance numbers, walkovers, and purchases, he won't have money indefinitely.

edit: looking through his past transfers, I hadn't realized how prolific and profitable his trading had been over the past seasons. Maybe he will still have money. I won't.

Yea, Smedlock will never be in a situation where he doesn't have money in the bank, which is why he's always so scary. He's made it known that he's not trying to promote this season, but he is looking to next season. And with a good base, plus an apparently endless supply of cash, he'll be the favorite next season.

So, it's a race to promotion this season! I really thought I had a chance until you made your big purchase and now the Traptors made theirs. Big trouble in the offices of Natellio.

I am guessing that he is either trying to race to 5th at the end or just making sure that he avoids being demoted. He was going to break the bank for next season anyways and doing it now to avoid being demoted makes sense. I am sure he has enough money in the bank along with future Cup wins to maintain whatever salary he ends up with.

He will definitely be a front runner for next season.

No pussyfooting from smedlock. But I understand, any decent SF goes for ~3mil.
I thought Eugene was touted for a SF role.
I just wanna stay competitive, I don't mind staying in III.6 :) I hope one day my fans will understand!

D.III.6 is definitely a fun and competitive league. I hopefully look forward to being here for a while myself!

It will likely take me 3-5 seasons before I even have a reasonable shot at competing for promotion.
