Definitely a big night for D2. I wonder if there's ever been an all D2 lineup in the semis in any country, let alone just England.

Three of the teams are fighting for promotion so they may not be D2 teams for long but its still an amazing achievement that does reflect the strength of D2.

Mine was a tight game. Up against an obviously weakened Tigers squad we just about managed to stay in touch in the first half. Started the third quarter well and with four minutes of the end of the quarter managed our first lead. Held that into the fourth when, almost inevitably, the Tigers fought hard. The lead seemed to change hands with every possession and the game was still tight with a minute to go. Just when I thought my shredded nerves couldn't take any more, with 23 seconds left, Lucio Villagra hit a three for a five point lead which all but sealed the win.

I'm still finding it hard to believe, especially following Ashington last thursday. I almost have as many wins against the EBBL as I do against D2 teams this season.

Wow, the general consensus earlier in the season was that this EBBL season was a pretty strong set of teams, but we've all been shown to be rubbish.

I just hope all of these beast D2 teams are too busy with the cup to make it into the EBBL next season...

My priority has been on staying in the EBBL and training my players. I only wish some more of the EBBL teams would have stayed in for longer and lost more of their league games!
However if you look, the teams have similar records so it will be a frantic end to the season...

i think both teams on the road have it very hard. i think the Colliders will make it through to the final. As for Durham/Risk and Reward i have no idea. If either crunches they will make the final but probably not then the cup

Risk and Reward are massive favourites in my opinion. They look good for promotion and having already beaten Hadron on the road won't be too worried about who they play in the final.

I know how good Nathaniel Team are, I've never beaten them, though the last twice I've rested starters against them because the Cup games those weeks were more important. Still I think Hadron have an edge in that semi.

We've all beaten EBBL teams along the way which I think makes us all deserving semi finalists and whoever wins the Tournament can feel they deserve that too.

I think the Wasps, having stung Ashington and the Tigers on consecutive thursdays, probably don't have the wings for a third miracle. We'll give it a go though.
