Closet Men @ M12:
Harley Carroll on the transfer list?! Looks like the Closet men are looking to mix up their roster after a dismal first quarter of the season. Best of luck to you, AI, in the rebuilding effort. M12 will win this match; they are simply deeper and more versatile.

Hunterz @ Miu:
Hunterz are forfeiting their cup efforts this week as the short roster is hurting game shape; as a result, there is no reason to rest their stars but having played long minutes in the recent defeat by EBW some will have limited minutes. Nevertheless, Hunterz defense will stifle Miu & Co resulting in a Hunterz victory.

Storm @ Krushers:
These are two of the stingiest defenses in the league holding opp ppg averages of 80.8 and 80.4 respectively. Additionally, they are currently the teams with the best ball control holding the lowest two turnover ratios in the league. Both teams like to play patient and efficient. I’m looking forward to a tightly contested game. Storm is a bit more efficient so I give the advantage and win to them.

Big Dawgs @ Winnerrrs:
The Villains have departed and been replaced by a cool bunch of Winnerrrs who oddly enough are going to continue the losing ways of the old Villains. A fresh team simply cant compete in this league. Look for them to use some of their startup capital on acquisitions in the following weeks and maybe they could begin to compete soon. For now, though, another blowout gimme game to fill out the schedule. Go Big Dawgs.

Shipbuilders @ No Love:
Welcome Aviran Katzav to IV.28. In a bold move the Shipbuilders have brought in a towering 7’5” Center with a salary that single handedly exceeds the entire team salary of all but 3 teams in the league. With a paycheck like that, we know Maine is expecting some serious production. I hope Katzav delivers. In his debut game he will be a keystone of the defense against a team that loves to play LI. I’m going to pick Maine to win if only because if they lose after putting themselves in this financial pickle it will be heartbreaking. Best of luck Shipbuilders.

Tsunami @ Delpra:
Delpra has been in a bit of a slump recently and I think it’s going to continue here. Statistically Tsunami has a better offense and defense both but that’s based on an easier early schedule so tough to say. Gut feeling, Tsunami win by 15.

Bastards @ Hate:
#1 offensive team in the league against a middle-of-the-road defensive team. Hmmmm. Bastards are still missing their best guard in a game against a RnG style team. Furthermore we have an offense vs offense matchup between Grubb and the league torching 27ppg Bejleri. The Bastards played a 1-3-1 Zone against the Krushers and were still unsuccessful at stopping them so I doubt they can stop Team Hate; even if they could a 1-3-1 zone would cost them boards and I’d be afraid to give that high octane Hate offense extra attempts. Team Hate will RnG to another victory. (On a side note, as Nelson pointed out above, they will go bot soon and then plummet so this is probably one of their last wins.)

Ballers @ EBW:
IV.28 fans tune your television sets to your local sports channel for the newest installment of BuzzerBeater Beatdowns. EBW has systematically clobbered every team they’ve faced this season. Sorry Ballers but you’re next on the list. The Baller’s Italian Trio (Accietto, Bodda, Job) may have seen a ton of minutes in their careers but are going to prove you are never too old to learn as they get schooled tonight. EBW with a big televised win.

Hey CrazyGM7, you upset a #143 team before but now you want to forfeit the next cup game against a #299 team? You gotta be kidding me lol. I hope you may conserve your line up a little bit tonight so my PD won't look too bad after this game. No matter what good luck with your cup game.

Our game tonight against Shipbuilders will be quite the match up. Tonight you will see a great match up with Ambrose matching up with Katzav. Definitely will be a game to tune into. Hopefully he performs well tonight for the Shipbuilders, because if he doesn't perform to expectations, I'm not too sure what else the rest of the team could do. Good luck.

Im thinking i got a win tonight by 5 or 10. crazygm you are overlooking the gameshape of those players, its really bad even though they are at home. But thats why we play the games, so stay tuned

Nelson, I noticed the gameshape differential. You obviously have the advantage in that. I just based it on past performance vs outside based offenses. I hope youre right and they suck because of poor gameshape but my prediction stands.
