Alrighty, just a FYI, I'll be out of action the whole weekend but I'll get a good look at our team and game shapes Monday and arrange the orders then

Relax my Japanese brethren, watch some anime, eat some noodle and get ready for some BB NT action! )

I'm trying reeeeeeeeal hard to ignore wolph/Toranaga's trippin' out on their players this season. Part of a self-help therapy.

2 posts total.

1 was 2 words "Nice game."

So the other must have been the time when I was trippin' out on my players when I tried to give some basic information to the new coach.

some basic information

Takayoshi Kawagichi is capped & isn't being trained anymore.
Hideki Ochi is 33.
Eita Wakatsuki was capped & I don't think the SB change helps much but he is still getting trained this season I think he has some high sublevels so trying to get just 2 more specific pops this season.
Takayoshi Kishita is a unique player as you can see. I am keeping him that way if you know what I mean. He is getting trained.
Shin Shidehara I don't know if he will ever be good enough for the team but I am working on his inside skills these last 2 seasons so at best 1 day he can be a poor mans Yuusuke Tsunami. Any tips for him much appreciated.

This is trippin' out. I apologise for polluting the forums with my two posts. I will join YC and stop cluttering your cyberspace.

Oh. My bad. Given I used past tense, I had thought it was obvious that I was referring to... well... "the past".

Oh. My bad.
Given I was referring to "future", and historically you have... ummm... well... let's say you've been an emphatic and enthusiastic supporter of your *own players*, I thought the inference was warranted. Hoping you *did note* that on the time (this season) you tootled your own trumpet, I bit my tongue and said nothing in reference to that.

I listen to what Shogun says about this game and his players way more intently than any other manager here. I think its funny the people who push themselves as experts here and try to write him off, or talk down to him/about him. It's silly.

Be specific wolph. I don't think anyone here has pushed themselves forward as an "expert". Nor do I think anyone's written him off. I've stated SEVERAL TIMES that I envy that he has an all-Nippon team, and that he's done well to construct it. Nor has anyone here played down his successes or his individual players.
To allude that this is what has been said is pretty shoddy work on your part wolph. Oh well.
I HAVE said that I think he goes on too much about his players at times. As do you. All I said was that I was trying to bite my tongue in those instances. Again... "oh well".

He has my respect because he deserves it. I have no qualms considering him a better manager, better dude, humbler dude, smarter dude, friendlier dude than me...whatever. I give respect where respect is due.

Same wolph. And that exists until someone does something for that reality to change. If someone doesn't deserve it, then I don't give it.
A third and last time: oh well.

Nyah-nyah!!!

See? The fact that you don't even know that if I did have a player I sang up it wouldn't be Torii, is indicative of how often I sing my players up!

YC's trainee has (not) 120 TSP.

Not yet but I am still climbing that mountain.
TSP Milestones
110=☑
115=☑
120= Not Yet but I am creeping though!!!

And come on....Malice also has Matsumoto who is a beast. But Kyoto has the whole deal. He even rode Hayakawa until the tires wore off. Sometimes it can back fire though, you have that many players needing training....It becomes a tough choice.
