Wow Joe, what you are capable of performing in the competition this season with such a modest roster salary total, that really impresses me. The way i see it as the two reasons behind this exceptional performance are a combination of high performing players (high performance relative to salary) and a highly skilled manager. This shows that it really shows in Buzzerbeater when you are a highly skilled manager, and this is a very good thing for the game.. Because it means, that having heaps of money and spending large amounts on players and salaries isn't a gurantee for success, you also have to be a good manager. For me this means, the game is well constructed and i find the game engine in Buzzerbeater to be really good, because the GE takes everything into account when simulating a game, also all the little details that can make a difference.

Another coach that impresses me is coach Q.
What a comeback coach Q made during the last seasons. Several seasons ago he was wandering in second division with his team, but this didn't stop from rebuilding his team almost anew again and having patience to see it grow and keep working on the build of a strong team again. And his efforts en patience surely are paying off for him. He showed all the skills of a very good manager, and got his team back to the top of Belgium's elite division.
He came totally back and build himself a very strong team again to compete in the BBBL as well as in B3. Coach Q is showing impressing performances in B3, and is giving Belgium respect in the international BB world by still competing for the highest price a team can have in B3, victory and champion of B3 ! Coach Q could very well be the big surprise this season, because his B3 adventure isn't over yet, and i think he really has a chance to perform something amazing here.
He certainly would carve his name in BB's history books by becoming the first Belgian team ever to win Buzzerbeaters Best. Go coach Q, you have nothing to lose, but everything to win in B3, because coming so far already in this competition is already something to be very proud of, and also is something the Belgian BB world can be proud of.

We all support Q in B3 but I don't think he can makes it to the title. In order to win this kind of competition, one musn't be afraid of slaughtering his economy - and that's what make it broken (although one could argue that Mloty is still around) pretty much like hattrick's Masters.

Not winning them but being able to stay longer at a very good level seems more appealing to me ; of course it's easy to say since I never made it into the last 32 :p

Indeed again, Joe deserves a lot of credits for his results. Now, a lower salary does not ultimately mean a lower level and a high salary does not always mean a great player. Joe's squad doesn't seem impressive on paper but must be very well balanced because he's not there by accident. He could even buy a couple of great players and very quickly rule the country again. I read he has other plans... and it's never good when Joe's got a plan!

As for the B3, thanks very much Eagle for the nice words I agree with Dartreb, winning the B3 requires a total devotion to that competition - to the cost of domestic competitions - and at least a few super players or 20 million $ to buy them and afford the huge salaries throughout the season. I have neither.
If I ever make it to the semis, you will probably witness what the difference is between a good team and a top team
