Playoffs can be used for training.
NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke
Charles: Penn has some good people
A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

are the mono skilled players performing better than the more rounded ones??
my training is always to try and raise the worst necessary skill out of the 4 trainees i have.....after a few weeks i thought my players would have obtained more pops but having switched almost every week to something new i just hope that they have decent sublevels.....i find it strange that my double/treble strongs have less salary than my guy who has no strongs (although a lot of respectables)
will see how this changes after the next salary update....
has anyone got in mind yet the sort of player they are trying to create?
ie.
PG with Wondrous Handling/Passing, Tremendous Driving etc,,,,
As I imagine by age 22-24 training will slow down or you wil perhaps switch back to 18-19yo how would an ideal player look (if you allocate say another 6-8 pops per season.)

Don't quote me this as dead-set truth, but I think that salaries for well-balanced players, say, a triple-strong, are designed to be lower than mono-skilled behemoths, say, having one Sensational, to encourage balanced training.

understood so similar to HT when a double outstanding is valued less than a brilliant for wage purposes... what about performance??
i dont mind paying the wages if the output is worth it!!

I'd rather have a balanced-skill player in BB 8 days a week.

This is a great tread. I decided to do this when I got a team, and my training for big men has been:
2 weeks of team stamina
1 week of team rebounding (2pops on trainees) lvl 6 trainer
C IS (2 pops)
C/PF rebounding (1 pop) switched to level 10 trainer
C/PF shot blocking (2 pops)
C/PF inside defense (3 pops)
C/PF inside shot (2 pops)
C/PF rebounding (4 pops plus 1 ID pop)
C/PF rebounding (4 pops)
To me, the ball is really rolling now with my level 10 trainer. I plan to switch to C/PF inside shot for the next two weeks because that's where I'm now weakest. If the 4-5 pops per week continue into next season, I'll be thrilled.
In the seven weeks of training, my best 19 yr old trainee has popped 6 times, always in the skill trained. My best 18 yr old got hurt for two weeks, but has managed 4 pops, including the week of his injury. His purchased trainee replacement popped 3 times.
All told, 25 pops on seven trainees in 7 weeks of C/PF training.
