Could a boost in stamina help the free throws? Meaning, if the players aren't quite as tired when they get to the line, wouldn't their chances of making the shot go up a bit? That is true in RL of course, but would it be the same here?

I don't believe so. However, only a BB would really know the answer to this.

I did the same things a few seasons ago, but I don't think it was a dumb move. I fired my level 5 trainer to start season 10, hired a level1 trainer, and trained FT for 5 weeks straight. In the championship tiebreaker game that season, I shot 18-21 from the line and won by 3.

As far as whether to train FT or Stamina, I think they both help your team, but FT shooting seems to get much better each pop you get, especially at lower levels. But I agree with Superfly even more so. Help out the players you plan to hang onto.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

All-Starters
Nice idea but this will only work if you are changing training plans and you could do without proper training for 4-5 weeks.I will try this one next season when i will change from big men to shooters.
For stamina i have to say that it does help the team very much at least that's what i think.Let's say you have 2 SG and one has awful and the other has strong. In the last half of the game your second one will probably maintain his scoring/assist average as opposed to the other one witch will more or less kill your game.
I'm not saying that games cannot be won by FT but i prefer that my player play the hole game with their normal skills than a close game that as you say will be won by a marginal difference.
As I've seen on the transfer list a lot of user don't train stamina and this could give your team an advantage.

I think stamina is pretty important. I hate bidding on players with less than inept stamina.

I hate training a skill that the more I build the more it goes down each week. (i know skills drop with age - so I'll add that i'm referring to trainees).... FT skill ups are great because you know you won't see them drop at the next week(s) training update!

I don't think that training stamina will increase the weekly lost of stamina!

Isn't stamina like enthusiasm? Doesn't it gravitate towards 0 and from a higher base does it not fall slightly faster?

Do you see players with high stamina going down faster than players with lower stamina?

I never noticed that in my players!
