thats an interesting call.... if someone cant get injured and recover and be deemed worthy enough of the title MVP i would be surprised


In pro sports in the USA, the prevailing theory is generally "if the guy missed a lot of time, how can be THAT valuable?"

fair enough.. in england anyone that does anything that ends up winning us a trophy of anykind gets knighted and goes down in folklore..... so in other words sod what happened before... if you score the only goal off your backside in a major final... YOU IS THE MAN!!!

Well as a Liverpool fan I would sadly have to agree with you now... he would not have been able to demonstrate his magic had Alonso not clawed us back against Luton or Crouchs winner v Man U and Little Luis/Riise v Chelsea (everyone contributed in the 7v0 against Birmingham!

But you will have to agree that this is soo blatant that if he were injured for half the regular season and inspired the team to its only silverware with a virtuoso performance such as this I would argue that in itself warrants the title MVP.... in years to come will you remember the fact he was out injured or the fact he single handedly won us our only trophy ??

Just realised my best player finally got the MVP. i got 3rd place aswel.

I think the finals averages should be added to league average stats on the standings page, because after all it's part of the league.

Regular season and playoff statistics have always been seperated in American sports (and BB is based on NBA rules)
