thats right it is an SOFT cap, but i could promise you that the managers of your examples shows lots of patient while training those players after they reach the cap.

I dont have any data for guards, but i can give you 2 big men, that i am almost sure that they caped.

ok...But it may take longer for pop.

patience is the key. your not going anywhere if you get frustrated over slow pops.

SF are capped earlier , it means a cap is on a number of skills.

just thinking as a user here and not clamiing anything as a GM, could it be that the BBs change the cap, when players increase in skills over the seasons too???
or would they just have set the system up as it should be at the start already?

Maybe they just set somethnig up with the pack of players they had back then, and are now seeing that it needs tweaknig or even altering, depending on the pack of players the game has now?

Maybe All-stars can reach a little higher now then before, to prevent the upper potentials from going out of the scale on the TL, because teams keep needing better and better players to reach the top...
