My (small) experience on the outside iso is that GE is looking for the best match up JS vs OD, so if your guard for example 17 JS going against 15 OD, and your C has 8 JS going against 1 OD then the big man will get lots of JS. A good example is my today game:
(30650003). My C had 10-12 shots, and i know that the opponent C OD is 1. For the record my C has 1 on DR. Ive seen that kind of production in several games too, so i have good evidences to back up my opinion Still is highly possible to be wrong, my samples arent that much...
I suspect that inside iso is similar but you need IS to make it work. It will be real helpful when the BB's announce the pace of those offenses, since the slower the more passing you need.
I cant say anything about the box offenses since i didnt test them and i dont plan to do it soon...
