Ugh... A freaking gut-wrenching game going on right now...

REGULATION:

- Was down 19 at one point in the third. Down 12 points going into the fourth. Down 12 points with 3-4 minutes to go.
- Primarily bench players lead the charge and I get right back in the game!
- With time winding down Opposing SG hits a three
- My PG is fouled and misses two free throws (was 6-6 from line before)
- With 2 seconds left Opposing SG hits a jumper to send the game to OT!

*Opposing SG has been killing me all game at the end of regulation: 40 pts 18-32 shooting

1ST OVERTIME:

- I was down 3 with 30 seconds to go but my PG redeems himself by hitting a ridiculously long three-pointer to tie the game!
- On the final possession I get the rebound but miss the final shot, to Double OT we go!

*Opposing SG: 48 pts 22-39 (4-7 shooting)

2ND OVERTIME:

- I fall behind early.
- Star PF takes over hitting a few shots in the paint and a three-pointer to give me a 4-point lead.
- Fatigue sets in and my third string PF (who was sold during this game) is inserted, and some costly mistakes are made.
- I hit another long three to tie the game with 15 seconds left.
- Opposing team misses last shot of period so it's time for Triple OT...

*Opposing SG: 48 pts 22-39 (I managed to make the Opposing SG a non-factor by getting him into foul trouble, 5 fouls, he didn't take or make a shot in the second OT)

3RD OVERTIME:

- A mix of bench players and starters play until about the 1:40 mark, the score is tied.
- At some point early in the quarter I get the Opposing SG who hsa been causing me all sorts of trouble to foul out!
- My star PF takes over down the stretch but Ohio Suns fights back.
- Fittingly I win on a driving layup by my star PF... At the buzzer.

Great game but now that it's done I'm little concerned to see that Ohio Suns had his effort level set to "Take it Easy" where as mine was at "Normal"... O_O

Hmm, seems to me you should have won easier by looking at those ratings, but it was good that you managed to pull it out anyways, representin the Big 8

Yeah I hope it was some fluke caused by the fact that my starting SG was coming back from injury and that I have a new center rotation, if not I need to put in extra work to find the next big player for my team :-/...

I put way more into that game and I was at home. Your team is WAY too strong! But hey, I honestly didn't think I would make the playoffs in this league at the beginning, so not too shabby! Good luck the rest of the way!

I did not realize you were a newly promoted D.V team... Now I feel bad about my team lol... Promoting after one season in D.V definitely worked against me :-/

D.IV.13 through interleague

Great 8 wins interleague 38-26

Big 8
-The 4 playoff teams seem to have separated themselves and await the final standings.
-Arizona is beginning to close on 2/3 after falling in the cup, how long will their cash last them?
-Droids has made several roster moves in looking to a potential future in D.III
-the sikers are still bot managed

Great 8
-Seachickens have all but locked up the #1 seed
-2-6 are still up in the air
-several teams are tweaking their rosters; notably WWE and Arlington

Power Rankings
1. Droids- Have clearly separated themselves as the leagues #1 team, will look to avoid any further upset losses in an attempt to lock up at least a bot clean up promotion spot. We'll also see how long my cash can last:) PF-6 PA-1
2. Seachickens- A very nice first season in D.IV, has a very bright future building. PF-1 PA-3
3. Arizona Roadrunners- Will continue to win games until their cash runs out, the best starting 5 in the league. PF-14 PA-6
4. Team WWE- Currently have a leg up for the #2 spot in the G8, New pick up seems to fill a need on the roster while still making money on the trade. PF-4 PA-9
5. buffalo cobras- strong defense has kept them in the hunt, manager is becoming more active as the end of the season ends. PF-12 PA-2
6. frito bandito- One of the leagues most explosive teams, nearly everyone has felt their SG's prowess. PF-2 PA-13
7. STARBURYS- Stumbled again in the middle of interleague, Looking to get back in the hunt for 2nd, will have to fight hard to hold off Arizona.
8. Ohio Suns- Consistency is key for them, win the games they should in good position for playoffs.
9. The Arlington Allstars- Looking for a spark on the transfer list to get themselves into the playoffs.
10. El Puerco Grande- Sad that such a good team may have to play in the relegation series, really shows IV.13's depth.
11. McArthurs Fury- Have spent the season working on their trainees to go with their already formidable front line, a force to be reckoned with in seasons to come.

Heh spot on as usual... I don't think I'm going to earn any brownie points this week either after tanking my last game for training purposes lol...

A tumultuous last few weeks but after tonight's W I managed to lock up a playoff spot... Woo-hoo.

Actually from the looks of it all the playoff teams have finally been determined in both conferences.

(1) Droids vs. (4) STARBURYS
(2) Arizona Roadrunners vs. (3) Buffalo Cobras

GREAT 8

(1) Seachickens vs. (4) The Arlington All Stars
(2) Teaem WWE vs. (3) Frito Bandito

I'm kind of expecting Arlington to pass Frito in the standings since Frito has Seachickens for their last game. Should be a fun playoff run:), I hope...
