All Star Week is for Buzzerbeater like a disgusting mole on a super model´s face. We want to get rid of it because it makes something which we like, unlikeable (for a week every 3 months)


We have ASW so that we can fit the Cup into the timeframe of the season for the largest countries.


You must admit that this is not the best justification for the ASW.


Many of our users enjoy the All-Star Game, and it invites friendly forum debate on the league forums.

I could think of much worse ways to fill the necessary open week.

Ok so look at it in this way then. A while back i had a player that had played on the SG position ~60 minutes. All his other games he played as a SF. He strangely though got the fourth place in the voting for the SG spot. My starting PG and my starting PF also got the 4th spot even though they played a lot more and had good records.
That player has 5k salary today and got some some training after that so his salary must have been a bit lower. I find it real strange that a player like that can grab the spot.
And then i remember a post in the forums where a player with 3k something got a spot against a 40k something player. Alsa rather strange results.

Just a suggestion, but perhaps it would be worthwhile to make the All-Star Week more enjoyable. For example, I think the All-Star week would be 10 times more enjoyable if the voting system was fixed so that the best players really do get selected to play in the All-Star Game, and if the All-Star game was played with the same game engine as league games. I don't want to watch my players have a scoring fest with no real defence being played, I want to see how the best players in each conference battle it out as if it was a normal league game.

And there should be a reward for players that make the All-Star teams.
Potential rewards include:
1. Increased Merchandise Revenue.
2. Money bonus per player that makes the team.
3. Automatic gauranteed experience pop.
4. Trophy for player or team page.

1. yes
2. not necessarily if the team gets increased merchandise revenue
3. certainly an increase but perhaps not 1 full pop. a certain amount, say half a pop otherwise a player could have massive experience from just playing in ASG each season.

and of course we should certainly have the ASG played at a normal intensity with some serious DEFENCE

a pop or half a pop, would make it much more worthwile then a NT game, which should be worth a lot more - and to be honest what did you learn in such games with no defence each league game should bring you more Experience.

yeh well i didnt know how much the experience goes up for a NT game or a normal league game.
but if the ASG is play like a normal league game like suggested by Naker and many others, an experience boost should be given. Less than NT games but a little more than a normal league game.
