I like this idea. I do not mind how the current league structure is, but I think a change like this will only better it. Also Buzzerbeater has not had any major changes since I joined at least and if I am correct not since season 5 when a whole bunch of changes were made. If this game does not get some type of change or addition to it, itll start to(and already is for many managers) become boring and you will see many teams taking breaks or quitting. Obviously this addition/change would have to benefit BB and enhance the experience and this new league structure would be really cool. Also with so many more teams, there would be more forum activity,at least league forums, where there is not much now. At least in Canada :P

The amount of teams per divisions should not be changed.

One of the main concept at BB is the divisional structure.
Changing the amount of teams per division will inherently change that concept for the worse, due to the amount of teams each BB-nation includes.

BTW - Let's see who will gain from this suggestion and get to the first division in case that this suggestion will be made... hmm... interesting...

You keep bringing up who will benefit from suggestions. This suggestion brings alot more competition and could make it even harder for teams in div II to promote. Also if it helps teams get from div II to div I. It will help teams get from div III to div II. Like you!

It does not bring more competition. More players at the same league is not a a receipt for more competition, otherwise all leagues on all sport types will have 1000 teams each.

Unlike "others", I'm not seeking for an easy game to play, but to play a real BB-managing game.
Otherwise, I would've opened (once again) the Spider-Solitaire...

If his proposed money spots are also introduced teams would be competing to try and win those spots.

Also if you want to play a "real" BB manager game then having more teams in a league and introducing divisions within conferences would be more realistic than two 8 team conferences.

Money is already involved on the place each user finishes at. It is just not "immediate" or well known.
It will affect that team income (a lot) on the next season to come.

Not true.
Having more teams does not make it more "real".
Who said (and by what it is more real) that a larger league is more "real"?

Again, the only thing I support, and from a different POV altogether, is that it will be better that a division will have 4 sub-conferences (or whatever it may named) 4 teams each, and the playoff will be random between sub-conferences.

Lots of teams do not understand this though and so this immediate compensation would promote competition.

Also I meant real as in more realistic. Realistically basketball leagues have divisions and more teams. I do not follow much more than the NBA, but im pretty sure that every professional basketball league has more than 16 teams.

So what you are saying that you have found a way to make more game-money upon others ignorance? Sounds kind of lame reason for a feature.
Anyhow, I believe that at the top division you will not find to much of those...

The Israeli (real) league consists of 11 (and don't ask why it is not an odd number... this is a long story).
Anyhow, the amount of teams does not make a league more attractive or more "real".
Again, if by enlarging the amount of teams any league would have become more attractive, than we would have seen huge leagues (hundreds and more) everywhere...

German League hast 18 Teams in one division, and it´s so damn boring till everybody has been playing everybody. It´s nice when you have a soccer league which is finalized after the "regular" season without any playoffs, but it´s pretty dumb and idiotic if you have a Playoffs coming if you´d ask me.

Iin European (Cup) events (called league) you have a schedule of different small groups, with a certain amount of teams advaning.

I join Bbalin in his judgement about the current and the long term financial impact. It´s so much "easier" to get a donkey going if he sees the carrot in front of him than by telling him his carrot is waiting around the corner.

Zwei Dinge sind unendlich, die Dummheit und das All...

Yes I probably would not find many in the top division, but I would in lower divisions meaning this is a case where im backing a suggestion that doesn't only affect me like you keep saying.

Is it really fun to watch that league? I know a canadian football league only has 8 teams. That gets extremely boring to me.
