That sounds more like a plan. I have one player over the age of 30 and I'm really mad. Still looking for a decent player to take his spot.

Also just in case you want proof that what we're telling you is actually worth it you can look at my team as an example. I started late in Season 17 making bad buys on players till Season 18. I found solid 18 year old and 19 year old players to build up and they are coming along great. Djibo Ball, Ali Betrouni and my new trainee is Mohd Fareed bin Sulong. All great bigmen prospects. I even managed to get one on the U21 NT. So just stick to training them right and you'll be in my position in no time. (Close to promoting with a good foundation for a team)

I agree with the poster who advised you to draft young players and train them. A lot of people prefer 2 position training but having done both 1 and 2 position training, I'm now sticking mostly to single-position training two trainees. Anyway, it is good to get some older talent (27-32) off the TL to round out your team because they'll have much higher experience than your younger players. Look for vets with respectable to proficient experience with salaries in the 8k-13k range. You should be able to comfortable afford 1-2 of these players while still saving money, investing in your arena, the draft, and a level 4 trainer. It's easy to say because I promoted out of level 5 a few seasons ago, but don't obsess about promoting immediately. Spending 2-3 seasons in Div V isn't the worst thing in the world because you'll have the opportunity to experiment with tactics and learn more about the game before moving into a competitive league. You already seem to be doing a good job with game shape so keep that up.

I wish there were pigmen. You get a few of these pigmen walking around I'm looking a whole lot better. Then if somebody wants to fix me up at least they could say, Hey he's no pig-man!
