HA is so high because it is trained as a secondary to so many types of trainings, which is unfortunate.

Actually, FCP doesn't work with slow offenses in my case............look at Tuesdays game..........played Playoff Normal against their PCT and still managed to keep it exciting..........loss still, but still good.
I played; Low Post, 3-2 zone
They played; Motion, FCP

in reality FCP have quite a lot variances, and in my eyes the FCP here is the extreme form you play normally in the last minute when you either foul or steal.

But FCP during the normal match is not really so much after the steal, it is more disturbing the offense of the opposition already in there court where is it usual that it take 5s till there are on the other side, and then you switch to a normal D.

About getting higher PD against weak teams, imho they score still to much it is nice to boost your stats with extra Steals and maybe 10-20 points more but for the PD i believe man to man is better.

If the other team has players that can handle the ball (and most good teams do), they will typically tear FCP apart. Personally, I would completely avoid it.

That said, I don't think that was your biggest problem in game 1. You played on the road, played normal to your opponents crunch and still only lost by 12. That's a reasonable result considering those 2 factors.

Still, I would switch to man to man, especially if you're not sure what offense your opponent is going to play. It's the safest defense to match up with.

my experience suggests that Enth. affects FCP, so TIE and FCP is a suicide, but CT and FCP can work, especially against Motion, in my opinion. They want a slow pace and you speed them up.
inept+ stamina isn't gonna cut it, I'm afraid. Strong or Proficient.
I only used FCP in lower divisions as a gamble vs. stronger team. I soon discovered that I get decent results playing m2m.

I like FCP.
It used to be great sometimes in lower leagues. Even won me a road playoff game i would have definitely lost using any other defense. forced over 40 turnovers!!!
(& yes i would have lost otherwise... since i even lost at home to them playing a normal defense)

(43161450) This an example of my FCP game. As you can notice, 18 more FGA than my opponent, out rebounded by 13, his team's TO almost doubled mine ofcourse I had more steals and blks. Our team ratings and matchup ratings are almost equally balance.

P.S. I used blank line up - coach decide in this game.
