Ok first I would just like to mention that I am above Whitebeard and Black Label Society. Don't mention the draw! I just need to get it in while I can cause it wont last. A briiilint job by the Calamari in the East with Goldfish leading the entire PL even though he seems incapable of getting a league win. Between him, me and The Winnerz have three of the top four spots. In Koops east it is Wombats and Whitebeards as expected, but look! Naker has gone three weeks without tanking. He has a really good team this season. Finally after relegating last season Pancakes has assembled an incredible team to try and fight his way back. In the South there is an awesome (lol) rare for the top with just 1 PD seperating Awesome^.- and Brisbane Thunder. Loyal Calamari shepparton shooters and Moorditj Magick are also undefeated and make the others in the top four after Skyhookz let down everyone that was tipping them. But the sleeper team in the South could be Coin Collectors who just pounded the highly touted (but out of shape) Gisborne Gladiators or Home Axis who beat the Hookz. A bad week for III.12.

Federation Standings Season Eight Week Three

Points Federation

193 Calamari
186 176 Kevin
159 154 Sharks
128 143 Oil Tankers

Well the Calamari stayed on top and can enjoy that feeling for another week until reality hits the Goldfish, Winnerz and me and Naker goes back into tank mode. Kevin have moved up a lot from 176 to 186 making the race very close. The Sharks also moved up five points. So where did those points come from? Looks like the Oil Tankers are living up to their name with Bell Park SuperCats, Monkey Business and Chumunga doing well but most of the others mediocre at best and them holding three of the four bottom sopts in the Easts.

Points Federation
188 Kevin
170 Calamari
167 Sharks
144 Oil Tankers

Last time we looked the Calamari had a handy lead but with teams like Baxter Bogans, Guanzheng Goldfish, shepparton shooters and the Winnerz dropping down the rankings and Mittyman Lions disappearing so did the team's chances. Well done by Kevin who were solid throughout with no tankers and teams like Lewisham Wombats, Black Label Society, Billy Hoyles Boys and Brisbane Thunder all scoring well. A great wfort and well done by the champions.

Sure to cause a lot of discussion it has been pointed out that not being able to post in the ladders/MVPs thread puts people off posting so feel free to post at will. I'm sure no-one agrees with me and I would love to hear your opinion. Who was snubbed? Who doesn't deserve to be there? Who should be the actual MVP of each league?

Thanks for all the patience this season.

LOL. Surely bainsy paid you off Yoda. I don't see Garrie Addison in any of the League leaders tables. PPG/RPG/APG all fail to mention him.

Not a lot of quality SF talent in the South and the team did well with him as one of their stars.

Well Mr. Yoda I don't do my research often. But an opportunity to get at Bainsy is one I shall not pass up.

I actively went looking for the better SF of the season and stumbled across ex-U21 player Alvin Turnbull who for some reason had been playing SF for the majority of the PL.

Here were his numbers:
19.1 PPG - 7.6 APG - 4.6 RPG

I then compared them with the Garry Addison (aka "The Gay Adder")
11.8 PPG - 4.36 APG - 6.18 RPG

As you can see, Bainsy does not deserve this honour of having one of his players labelled as an allstar. Just like in the III.12 MVP voting he should not be present at all

That feels good, man I must be an asshole ^.-

Well I searched him out (as you didn't mention what team he was from) and he did play about half his games at SF even though he is listed as a PG. If you actually went through all his PL games with a calculator that is impressive dedication. I am sure I had him mentally in the PG category, there are a lot of great PGs in the South but as you correctly pointed out he should be eligible as a SF. He was playing for a bottom five team which does go against him but I think this one is good enough to refer to the appeals committee.
