. You're somehow implying that getting 48 minutes at one position is some sort of a reasonable expectation for a game -- it is not.

My trainees get 48 minutes a game at one position all the time, so from my point of view it is somewhat reasonable. Obviously it's not guaranteed due to injuries and foul outs, but it works probably 75% of the time. I still maintain that not having this as a possibility at all in a walk over is a slight penalty.

I think the problem has an easy solution.
Once the simulation is done, it should be possible to assing each player the minutes played.

Interesting, but it doesn't match the game simulation for WO, wheres players may be fouled out very soon.
Check this example :
(46129580)

As you can see (on the live report), ALL the players of the winning team got fouled out, plus three lucky fans as well. A player managed, G. knows how, to make seven (!) fouls. Those were reasonably good players who had no reason to harass the opponents (un)lucky fans.

It is funny watching indeed.

That makes sense. I meant to say that while 48 minutes is a likely outcome, there is no expectation of certainty for this -- I guess it didn't come out very clear.

Yes, I can agree with you that having a 100% chance of not getting 48 minutes in a walkover can be considered a penalty of sorts. My understanding is that that the intent of the developers is to have trainees play in multiple games in order to receive training minutes, and everything else is a "do it at your own risk" type of affair -- that is to say blowouts are functioning as expected.

Or atleast a way/option to get 36 minutes for a guy period, and 12 minutes for another period. and have the 2-3 guys on rotating schedules so each can get the 48 mins they need. in Real life, 36 mins a game is a guarenteeable possibiliyu barring injury.
