Russel should probably be on the main team, Barkley probably on the bench (both debatable)

Also, no Malone or kareem AJ?

West is 6'2" 175. You're telling me he matches up with 6'8" 270 Lebron? Lebron is simply the strongest, most athletic player to have played the game up to this point in history. If we were picking teams based on stats, I would agree with you, Lebron has no business on this team. But we are picking the best players ever, not the best stats ever. All of my players would be able to play in today's NBA, with the exception of possibly Russell, but with his incredible drive to win, I think he would do anything to be successful.

The reason we needed a "redeem team" to begin with last Olympics, is because LeBron James couldn't play well with others in the Olympics prior to that, and thats why they didn't win the Gold. Spain was good... but not so good where they should have won the gold.

This statement is ridiculous. You know how many minutes Lebron played in the 2 group stage losses in Athens? (I can't find the box score for the semis loss) He played 18 out of a possible 80 minutes. I would say blaming losses on a player that played that little is unfounded. Also, Argentina won the gold that year, not Spain. The USA beat Spain in the quarterfinals.

Argentna won?

Argentina has players other than Manu?

Edit:

a player playing 18 of 80 minutes, can too do it. And, you know, there's a place called... "a locker room", and some people's :locker room chemistry" is either "good" or "bad"

examples of bad: ron artest, stephon marbury, JR Smith...
examples of good: Kevin Garnett, Chauncey Billups

you get the idea.

Considering that team had the aforementioned Stephon Marbury and Allen Iverson on it's roster, I hardly think Lebron was the worst locker room influence.

Dude... granted he was not the only one. And... yeah I'll say Iverson was way worse in locker room.
LeBron has made LONG strides since back then... He was worse than Stephon Marbury... but no... Iverson I think is the top.

But, and I may be wrong, Iverson had been on one of those teams before, and they won...

Your hatred of Lebron is laughable. Keep making things up, if it makes you feel better.

He's been on a good team for two seasons... Both seasons his team going to the finals, first season they were figuring it out. They won a championship, easily over the thunder for fucks sake.
