This is not a record at all, some seasons ago there were different prices, and it was quite common to see players being sold for 3-4-5M

The highest I've seen was about 12M

I don't know how anyone would think this is a waste of money etc (especially coming from someone who spent 11M on a guy once). If someone shoots for B3 title and wants the best SF in the game, he will buy this trainee. Also 2.3 fouls/39.8 minutes in last season is nothing to cry about.
Lastly, he probably won't be sold for same amount of money in 5-6 seasons. So what? He will bring so much money from attendance, wins and some merchandise that every penny on him will be well spent. I mean...193cm and 21y old player with ID 14 and RB 10, are you kidding me?? "Flawed player" because of Atrocious in FTs that can be easily trained during 2-games weeks? Let me see how many of you who underappreciate this guy has better guys than him on their roster or even have seen players like that on TL.

If this was a Slovenian player and I was the NT manager with enough money, you can bet I'd pay anything to get this guy and train him to be the best SF in BB ever - and he would even play for our country.

oh wait looks like high bidder changed.
Funny this is now that htey released the player as FA, no way to know who or why anyone buys it now. The damage is done and they reward the orignal farming by FAing the player.

Not sure what you're trying to say here?

You are wrong Mr. Sherlock Wolph :)
First of all, I come from polish community and I know that case pretty well. That player was trained as "best SF in BB history". Unluckily his team went bot (kac100 - you can check in his match history). He was well-known manager in polish society, so we quickly saw that he didn't log in for 6 weeks. New team (Komarno) bought him already injured, so it is not a reason for him why he is selling him now. He even trained him gs :) Current bidding team is also not a farm, so he is not like " does not care about winning any real game ever", because last season he played in tough polish D1 :) Tomanski is rare player (almost TSP=100 at age 20), so it is not a suprise that he costs so much. Case solved Sherlock Wolph! Now we can drink a cup of tea.

Two small considerations...

1) I've never seen a B3 won thanks to one player of 20yo or similar, who wants to win the BBB buy finished players (for same of lower amount)
2) You are too young in this game, I've bought for 11m and sold for 8m but probably you weren't here when we lived that economy

Last, I said that this is not the best young player on the market and that he could invest all this amount in a better player. At the same time I've bought a lot for young players so I completely understand him, I prefer to train young players.
There is only one team that pays 20 milliions euro per month for Eto'o, my opinion, they are wasting money but if they are happy my day will be better too

I didn't say you can win B3 with current 21y old. But in 4 seasons when this player couldl be finished, there would be no better SF in this game.

As far as I know, 11M is similar to 4-5M today, so I think your point is moot.

Last, I said that this is not the best young player on the market

Really? So which young player is better? Generic PGs/SGs/Cs? Since you've seen so much BB than me, you probably know better than me that SFs are the toughest to train. So no, I really don't know which young player could be better right now.

yes, because they start with skills that are lower than the skills of this Polish player. If he was trained like he has been until now, I'm sure he doesn't need another 6 or 7 seasons of training but rather 4-5.

If a 18y old starts with RB 7 or RB 6, that's a big difference provided you will finish his training with RB. At 26y of age, you will need at least 3-4 weeks more of training to put RB on same level for both players. Since this Polish SF had almost all skills at respectable, he already had a huge advantage over other SF trainees.
