The Orange Times is BACK!

Sorry for the delays, the Editor has been busy. But We are back to keep you updated on the happenings of the Orangemen!

Like any franchise, the early stages have been a bit rough. sitting on a 6-15 record, the Orange will look for nothing other than a moral victory on Saturday in the season's final regular season home game. However the roots have been planted for a strong future. Indian import Ekaraj Karanwal has been a standout, scoring 16 points per game and pulling down nearly 13 rebs a night. His chemistry with prospect Jeffrey Rivas(15 pts, 11 rebs, 7 assists per game) is quickly building and they look primed to lead the Orangemen from the cellar to contention as soon as next season!
And with a high draft pick, and a thick wad of cash, this looks to be an active off-season. Ownership has suggested they wish to bring in a super star C in the 20k salary range to anchor the team around as they build. Fans are welcome to send in suggestions as to who they think the next Syracuse Sensation should be! The only qualification is that he must be American-born. Ownership has mentioned multiple times that with the recent drop in popularity of the Toccoa Panthers, there is an opening for the title of "America's Team", and by the end of season 22 the Syracuse Orangemen want to fill that void.
All in all, the future looks bright for your Orangemen. You can direct all questions and concerns as to the direction of "America's Team of the Future" to the editor, and they will be acknowledged and answered

Anyways for that C I would advise not to get a 32 yo.............get a young one.

27 yo should be fine but he will cost you a bank full............be prepared. BUT if you pay for a 27 yo he will benefit you more in the future then a 34 yo would.

all in all, don't purchase any of them oldies, they will bite you in the future.

I was planning on shooting for the 27-30 range. He will be an integral part of getting us to D.IV, but upgrades will be needed once we get there. Im trying to do just enough to get into promotion range, while not spending too much money. And I was planning on training Karanwal as a SG/SF, but I have a shot at getting him on the Indian U21 team at PF so I have to re-evaluate my training plan.

At last! America's team will live on! The Force is strong with this one.
