Won't get to watch the game until later, but it looks like we played excellently vs Poland today, hanging with them for 3 quarters before being finished off. Very promising.

Generally speaking, losing Gascoigne in the last part of Q3 made all the difference, from then we were always going to lose, before then it was v tight.

Hadn't actually seen that yet, watching it now, bummer really.

Though it should be noted they had an injury very early in the 1st as well, I'm still very happy we were in it at all.

Gascoigne took a charge for the team to give the opposing player his 6th foul. Luckily the doctor taped him up nice for my league game!

I'll never forget the best doctor i saw was at uni - his name was Dr D'eath ! With that surname i think i would have chosen a different career like cage fighting, or stunt man :)

I doubt Dr was actually his first name, they probably only called him that because he was working as a doctor!


@Eminence: Awesome performance against one of the best teams in the world there! Should give italy something to think about.
