Since a few people look interested, I created a league with a live draft scheduled this saturday at 11:45 am (my current timezone - should happen during the half time of the first season game). It's still a test, let me know if you would like to see any changes!

Might be a bit early for a draft just yet as the NBA rosters are not set yet. Also does this league have a salary cap?

I don't expect major moves in the following weeks in the nba. I don't know a salary cap, this is a good point! I've never created a league on my own, that's for that kind of comments that I try one early. That being said, if an experienced manager would like to set one up that would be ideal.

I will have a look tonight more closely and see how the yahoo style of league works. I haven't received the draft kit from my CBS League yet, if we run into any issues I could always shoot you guys last years one, it lists all the players and gives a dollar value to each.

I'll be in if it's the head-to-head style

I had a quick look and it looked like it was set up for head to head. I'm not familiar with the yahoo environment, so I can give a better explanation of the league after I spend some time in there tonight... While waiting to be disappointed with my draft picks. Lol

I think there are too many roster positions selected. Most leagues I have played in are 7 or 8 players deep (G,G,F,F,C,Util,Util,Util,Bench) This allows for a normal lineup plus 3 reserves and 1 guy to sit out each week. with our comp having 8 or so teams there should be enough talet out there to have pretty stacked teams with 9 on each.

Jump on in, just follow the link listed above and register, there is room for 20 teams, although I think it should be limited to about 12 or else we will have some real bottom of the barrel guys as your 7th to 9th guy ;)

10 roster positions and 3 bench positions is the stock standard yahoo way I think.

I generally like having the 13 players, to add a bit more interest with sleepers and the like.

the currently scheduled draft time really puts me at a disadvantage.

My work group are having a "team building" day and we're doing skeet shooting.

If i'm not actually ONLINE for the draft, what happens?
