Sure, it's not necessary for me to promote (and I probably won't, milky buckets is too tough). This guy I just bought was a great bargain; I'll make profit from selling him + I'm competing for division title. Even though his salary is high, I'm still making money every week.
If my team isn't good enough for higher divisions, I'm just gonna be demoted at the end of the season. No harm done.
