I agree, BB do strange things since one or two seasons...the 1st quarter becomes just ridiculous, today 9 Minutes one basket scored 8 fouls...every game the same shit in the 1st quarter some players seems not knowing how to play...in my last cup game it was a server error in the 2Qt i took a 34 - 12 against a team from same level during this time...strange

In my PO game last season, i had a sub for my SG and SF, the engine just decided to understand that differently, my SF played 49 mins (loss in OT),which what was not needed as he has a 2 in stamina...in a close PO game this is embarassing

The games are calculated prior to being played, not at the time of the live transmission, so a server error cannot have any effect on a match performance.

Also, in close matches starters have a big advantage over their backups, as they always have, a strategy which is based on the assumption that you'd like for your best lineup to be out there when it's most important.

What was the exact way you set your lineup? If it was set in a way that would allow overriding by the game engine in the third quarter, which I assume was the case, the main reason why Guillemin substituted Case and not Keled when Case's stamina is allegedly three levels higher is likely this one: Case had lower effective stamina by that time. It looks like he had played the entire time up to that point (35 min., 10 sec. into the game), while Keled had played only around 24 min.

I'm also not very appreciative of the way garbage time is handled, but I really don't think anything major regarding it has changed in recent times. If your team hasn't experienced situations like these recent ones in the past , it's most likely because the required circumstances for them to happen weren't present.

My main advice to people failing to get 48+ is alway to try and win with a smaller margin. Easier said then done sometimes though.

This becomes more and more annoying, when playing in leagues that consist of half bots, half (semi)competing teams - like in my case. If you own a team that is balanced you will have to blow out the newbies/bots, it's almost unavoidable.

It's still possible to get the training minutes, but it could be much easier and more fun if some kind of solution would be found. Maybe less minutes for full single position training needed (45+ maybe), could help.

Like I said, I've seen similar occurrences as the first case you've shown. I personally consider it to be a bug, but one that is definitely not caused by recent changes. Setting players only as reserves is what caused that.

However, now that you've confirmed your depth chart distribution in your most recent game... that's a fourth quarter "garbage garbage time" behavior - happening in the third quarter! I have never seen that happen in the third quarter before this week, but I've now seen it twice: I don't really watch my team's scrimmages live, but since my team won yesterday's match in a blowout and I set my lineup in a way that matches yours, it was naturally the first game I checked for possible abnormal GE behaviors in the third quarter. And guess what?! When third quarter garbage time hit, my starting PF, who had been subbed out for the player that was both his backup and reserve just a few minutes before, went in to replace my point guard. All starters other than the PF had themselves set as their backup and reserve. Here is when it happens: http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/87467287/reportmatch.as.... And here is just an example from my previous week's scrimmage where that kind of substitution didn't occur under pretty much the same circumstances: http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/87461022/reportmatch.as...

The main difference between your case and mine is that my PG went back to the game at the start of the fourth quarter, but that's probably because he was subbed out for another starter. When the game engine changes a player's position, that choise carries on to the rest of regulation, but I assume a new quarter resets it if it's depth chart role is bigger than the one of the new position.

Anyway, I wonder if this change (273587.3) made by BB-Marin this week could have made that substitution behavior also appear in the third quarter. His explanation of the change makes me believe that shouldn't be the case, but well...
