If I could put together a team that shoots even 33% from behind the arc I feel like I'd be sitting pretty. That equates to an average of 1 point per shot which would be the same as shooting 50% from field goal range.

I just barely played a game in which I felt my guards out classed the competition. However my team ended up shooting 4-26 on three pointers with 3 of the 4 made shots coming from my big men. I think there is something to be said for a team that uses big men to shoot long distance shots.

And it doesn't matter if I play an outside or inside offense, he will still be the main threat because of his skillset.

He averages like 1 three point attempt per game, when you run a LI-offense. That's far from threatening.

he's actually averaging about 5 3pt shots per game, however I must say many teams in D3 and D2 Utopia suck big time in OD.

I'd be interested in having a game against his team when our season's over: we carry roughly the same salary and I have 1x player with 16OD, 1x with 15OD, 2x with 14OD and 2x with 11OD. I think I'd do ok against any outside shooting: in fact I'm allowing 32% FG% and 19% 3Pt% as a team for the season.

To me the key problem of outside offences is the penalty to team rebounding. In outside offences not only you miss more, but also you rebound fewer of those misses. If they removed the penalties to rebounding compared to inside offences it would be already a significant improvement.

Edit: sorry misunderstood the point (LI=few threes). Ignore the first bit.

I put in my lineup early in the week when I have the time to look at it and its a good thing I don't second guess my lineup now. I play motion, look inside, and motion if there are any of my league mates looking in the forum I have to add I play look inside, look inside, and motion.

Heading on the right path so far. Are you?

Well, you paid for that RB didn't you, it's not like it comes for free! The ratings in outside offences are definitely lower, so it stands to reason that in the long run your total rebounds are also lower...unless ratings are meaningless for rebounding :P

I doubt rebounding is determined by individual match ups the way scoring is. I'm talking about team ratings.
