A little bit? Okay, there are some great things here in Japan. But I often feel like riding on a time machine. And that's back in time :0...

PS: I'm not against RETRO, I love old stuff and ways. But insist on it, because it was like this already since forever, it's a bit... Hmmm, Japanese...

Here's something retro:
My child (he's 9) can walk to school each day. My wife can go out in the evening, and walk home.
I love that.

One of our graduated students is heading to Australia to start university there (second semester), and I had a chat with her about "don't trust people so quickly", which is completely against her nature. A sad, but true reality.

You really think Fukuoka's booming red and blue light districts are populated by all volunteer workers??????

I have no idea, and will have to take your word on it!!! Hell... I don't even know what a blue light district is!
