yea thats what I did with his IS so he could take advantages of D4 and whenever I promote back up D3 defenses. The good thing about pushing IS way above the other inside skills is that the elastic effect is at work which now his ID SB and RB will train faster because his IS is relatively high compared to his other skills. Thinking he can hit 112 TSP by the end of the season

Check out the game lineup in the Big 8. It's in order of our conference rankings: 1v2, 3v4, 5v6 and 7v8. How often does that happen?
The Great 8 is has a couple games like this but not perfect.

3 weeks of training and 0 skill pops on 4 PG/SG. At least I only had 1 skill drop (stamina).
But still, 1 week of passing, 2 pressure, and no skill pops makes me wonder if I'm paying my trainer too much money and now he has a habit.

Training is real hit or miss sometimes. I've never had success doing single position training, myself. I had a high ceiling prospect once and wasted half a year focusing on him with an advanced level trainer, and got maybe 1 skill pop. It just seems wasteful if one is interested in developing a good overall team.

I would stick with pressure at least one more week in your scenario. Even if you don't get results this week, if you move on, you may find the investment will quickly follow when you start training other areas.

That's what I'm planning. I have all of my players between 60 and 80 minutes a week so it's not their minutes and game shape is high for them too.
On a different topic, how do you know when to sell players due to their salary and income? I'm averaging barely +10k a week.

Here are my results with team rebounding training the since the week with 13 pops. I don't recall off hand now if that was my first or second week when that happened, but here is the layout from that point:

Week 1: +13
Week 2: +2
Week 3: +2
Week 4: 0
Week 5: +4 with a stamina drop

So that still averages out to 4 skill pops/week.

This with a minimal trainer. Obviously, younger guys develop faster. I'm moving to a different training this week, but I haven't decided which, yet. I may stick with IS to continue to build the interior game.

To your other question, obviously, younger guys develop faster in general. I seek younger, higher potential guys. My main objective now is to find a solid core of U21 guys as my starting point of trying to compete again, mainly through the draft as I generally don't have a lot of time to scour the transfer market for steals. Accordingly, there may be the odd PF/scorer that I keep to facilitate Cup runs until the 26-30 range.

I think there are 3 prime windows to sell a guy...1) their first year; 2) the 26-30 range, if you've managed arena and other business aspects wisely, you should be able to find a better, younger replacement develop them a little more, sell them for more and keep that cycle going; and 3) 32-33 when they still have value, for teams looking for economical veterans for promotion/playoff pushes.

I have $8.4M in the coffers, so once I have that youth core in place, I'd be looking for 1-2 pieces that I haven't been able to find/develop when I am ready to start competing. That may not be for another couple seasons. I'll probably sell most of the guys I won't keep by the time they are 26.

I should add, I've put zero effort in competing in league. I play a different starting 5 every game and use Strictly Follow Depth Chart, but I dress 2-3 bench players in the event of foul outs/injury so at least somebody is getting those minutes. At the end of the week, then you just put those players in the same position to sub for each other to get those minutes in.

Im trying to make the playoffs. I need more audience attending my games. I see them as the most steady income in the game.
My struggle is my trainees' salaries are getting too high and my income is too low.

I'm really perplexed as to why your income is so low. Your player personnel is only about $70K. What are your staff salaries and weekly gate receipts?

My guess is you have too much going into staff.

Wow, I know I have been overpaying my exceptional trainer but his salary has ballooned way out of control he is almost $75k per week right now. I told you I'm overpaying him and he developed a stripper or cocaine habit lol.
He is getting the axe and soon.
EDIT: As soon as I can buy one for under 600k.
