From these guys i wonder if they think they are all so good why didnt they candidated for their own country NT elections?
...
Rambo no offence taken, you were honest when you said that being a small active user country so now lots of guys want to try to see how they can manage a nation. The thing is that being a NT manager is a team work u can do nothing if the teams that have the NT players are not training him or they dont want to talk/update new players and so on. It's just absurd to say that i have some friend from Italy and me and them will make this team better will scout for players and so on, first of all its not polite towards SA users, its like were being left out...
But despite all, I'm glad that the candidates share their opinions and thoughts.
Tom
Obviously for someone from USA or Italy, it is nearly impossible to win the votes for NT coach unless you are in the top league of your country.
I definitely agree with you that it will be about team work and working with the SA active users rather than buddying with more foreigners. I cited this in my opening speech that I think the process will be best if it is a cooperative one with as many people as possible helping out in any way thay can. I don't think two guys from Italy can get it done, although Marco may be a great coach and perhaps this isn't what he meant by his statement. I will give him the benefit of the doubt that he understands people from SA will be the chief builders of the team, not the coach.
I can not reveal too much about my own team but I can say I believe I have had a very successful training strategy in place and I look to implement similar strategies with the National Team players and with the SA users.
thanks!
