Think you're the heavy favorite to win it all. The schedule is really breaking your way too. You essentially had a first round bye, then now have HCA + enthusiasm over Footpath. I'd say the Lengends have the next best shot with a loaded roster, then me third, and Footpath 4th. Though... I kind of am rooting for Footpath to win it all. Even were I fortunate enough to make it to the finals to face them, I'd still kind of want them to win.

BTW, just glanced at our previous game again. You're right, it really was insane! I mean my leading scoring for the game only played 9 minutes!!!

Congratulations (in advance) on winning the title!

It's probably in my best interests that you beat me anyway. As a 100% homegrown team, I'd get absolutely destroyed in Div 2. (it happened to my Utopia team already when they unexpectedly promoted). As I can't sign any new players or do much of anything.

It's not a done deal just yet! Your defense is great. Defense goes a long way in this game. You have a D.II defense while playing 3-2, so I think you could at least compete in D.II.

In all honesty though, I'm not really ready for D.II either. My bigs that I'm training aren't close to D.II talent. Plus I'll need to do some adjustments to the roster despite having limited money moving forward.

Dominating first quarter by you! 32 points with RNG is amazing, especially since I put a better defender out there this time. Your team is just in another class vs. the rest of the league. Even if your enthusiasm weren't so much higher than mine, it wouldn't really matter. Dorukan is an absolute monster, so was hoping you'd play RNG or motion. Yet that didn't even help. Will be curious to see that box score after the game.

My Utopia team is in the finals too. Was looking like they'd at least win. But are in the midst of an epic 4th quarter collapse. ETA- they just blew a 12 point lead somehow & now is going to OT. Ugh. USA III has been a lot tougher than Utopia III, not sure if that's surprising or not. Ok now they won.

ETA2 - my massive rebounding advantage in the ratings didn't really amount to anything. Anyway, you're the way better team so congrats again & GL in D2!

Not going to lie, I'm still very surprised I won. My team has never done well against yours, even dating back to when we were in the same D.II together.

I was very surprised by Dorukan playing so well in the RnG. Most points he has had for me since being on my team. Picked a good game to finally show up. Also, I was looking at that rebounding as well and am very surprised. That's actually the reason I went with the 2-3 defense against you in our first game this season.

Nevertheless, I've seen crazy things happen in BB during my 34 seasons of playing. So I'm not going to say you are out of it. Defense wins games, and you have a top level defense in D.III. So we shall see.

27 points, 24 rebounds. That guy is unstoppable!
I didn't watch the game live. But glancing at the PBP i notice it was a 3 point game with only 37 seconds left! So at least I was somewhat respectable today. Maybe I could've lost in 3 had my side of the conference not been so tough & had a little extra enthusiasm. Anyway, good luck in D2!

You know.... the worst possible outcome for me would be to get auto promoted now. Didn't even give that a thought until my loss tonight.

ETA - Wow, my 100% self-trained Utopia team just won the title for the 2nd time in 3 seasons! The USA seems way harder than Utopia. Not sure if you agree? Just that my Utopia team is on paper much worse (much weaker defense and rebounding) yet so much more successful. Anyway, I'm gonna finish a combined 4-40 if both my teams promote to D2 next season

Not liking this draft class. Only a handful of players with the starting skills I want, & I'm picking last. Guess I can stick with the trainees I have, but was looking to upgrade at least one. Utopia draft has much better players for me this season.

Wasted a bunch of scouting points too since i was so dissatisfied

Thanks! I still wasn't that confident in game 2. I was down by like 10 at halftime and I already assumed I lost.

I'm hoping this team is ready for D.II. I feel like I have good depth, but not sure my starters are D.II caliber outside of my C. We shall see though. I at least have some good young players that are assets at this point.

I've heard Utopia is much easier than USA leagues. I honestly have never intentionally competed in Utopia as I used it just for training for USA U21/NT. I imagine that's what a lot of people do which is why it's easier. Don't know though.

Anyways, good luck to everyone next season. Shikago is definitely going to be hard to beat.
