I think the training aspect is challenging to a fault, and the SF GE aspect is a failure in representing the game of basketball.

I know where this debate is going to go, so lets not get into it.

My preference is to make changes that keep BB being and becoming closer to basketball in reality.

Your preference is to keep the game as it is because it's same for everyone and whatever it is, in some way, it makes the game more complex/interesting/challenging.

How about you just say "no thanks" to this idea, leave it at that.

i agree with you.

if you want to train a SF in a single-position, you must put yout SF in another role.

sf in the GE - you can play a center at SF against an actual SF, with roughly comparable total skills, and be very successful. It's unrealistic.

I don't think that there are enough 'pure' SF's made already to see if a C would be successful against one of them.

From what I have seem in games an outside based SF will dominate an inside based SF in the outside game, and vice versa. The only thing I have found is that an inside based SF will dominate the boards, and rightly so.

Unless of course you are talking about a players 'position' as given from their overview page, which I think is very misleading with the player skillset that it gives to SF's
