Big win, mostly due to nailing the tactics. Suffered foul trouble (2 starters fouled out), 2nd half injury to our starting PG Henderson, and despite having better team rebounding rating, got killed on the offensive boards. But, Russia couldn't overcome the 3-2 zone against our look inside, and we eventually pulled away in the 2nd half.

Now, lets see how Canada and Chile do later today.

No surprise on the O boards. You outshot him 49% to 29% from the field. He had alot of chances at O-boards with that %, lol

thanks! Whoever takes over the U21s next season gets HCA in attempting to get to the World Cup, that should be a big help.

Now that we've secured the HCA in our regionals, all that's left is to win the wholetourney Three road wins stand in the way of that.

First, in this "elite 8" round we face #13 Czech Rep on the road who knocked off Canada on the road, along with this shocking move:

"Canada looked like the only team trying out there."

Ratings-wise, we're right there with them even being on the road, but will be a tough match. Need a good week of game shape this training.
