From weak evidence yes. Meaning that taking it only from the experience of my team. I feel passing is a underutilized skill in BB that creates quality shots. I'd love to see further study on its impact.

yeah, I agree with you. The monster will bring many things to the team, but it might be best to have a player who is a monster in rebounds (more chances) and passing (more assists)

I have to agreeably disagree with a small point of what you said though: I think passing is one that can be high on any player, and the whole team will benefit. My top assist-er is a power forward with respectable passing.

I don't know how much I would sacrifice for high passing skill, but as I wrote in the post before this one, my top assist-er is a power forward with respectable passing. I'm sure that if he had higher passing he would connect to more high quality shots on the court. I recently found a bargain on a better power forward and had to get rid of one of my old ones. One huge deciding factor for keeping my original PF was his passing skills.
