Some nations have a high ratio of multicultural names and others are homogenous for their native names. I wonder what data BB uses to create their name databases?

they try to use official data bases, so in germany there would be more turkish names and less from algerique.
In France they are more names from algerique, marocco etc.

as kozlo write, for foreign player names they use name datas from this countries. So if you have a an american kids with chinese (grand) parents, the names comes from the chinese data base.

the german databased also have some weird "origin" names, but this makes the game funny and matches good to the faces in my eyes.

Hey, think about players who acquired another citizenship when they became 18, or players born in a country from parents from another one...
First two examples that come to my mind are: Anthony Parker - France
Carlton Myers - Italy
