Thanks Skyhook2010 you just earnt your first ever ball! Yes it was scary we kept playing TIE, TIE, TIE, we had our funny lineups and sold two of uor best players and kept on losing by single figures, we could have missed out on our super youngster.

Bainsynator - it costs $100,000 and can only be done offseason. Maybe a silly thing to do when you are trying to be promoted but we are a Happy Hippo now. :)

Yes Bainsy it was worth a shot, I'm sure the Rangas will have a crack too but we have a plan for them. Hard to get enough minutes for all of our guys at the moment, we just keep on buying, buying, buying. After the cup there will be a few sales and we will pick up our own dominator to match the new Pleb and Spartin. Nice to see so many teams pumping themselves up so hard.

Agree with your perception skyhooks, I won't be underestimating the hippos and having seen the moves Bains and Spartans have made I am glad I have time to see what their new cats do before we face.. Good luck in your cup games gented, I got screwed with an ABBL dude for round 2 so I will purely be getting training minutes.

haha you boys are a bit naive. the PF will not be the only introduction to the Plebs lineup you will have to worry about. look forward to more introductions to the plebs lineup

wow.. a good night for the Blue in the cup, but not such a good night for the Reds... surprised to see the Hippos and the Spartans going down to Div 4 teams :(

I cant believe I won that game.. we were 17 points down in the 2nd quarter, before coming back to within 7 at half time.

Chan goes and fouls out in the 4th, creating alot of issues.. Hurriyet fortunately had a beast of a game .. With no time on the clock, 100-98 up, the redbacks went to the line.. 1st FT was up and in, followed by a brick, giving us the 1 point road win!

had it gone to OT, with Chan on the Pine it would have been game over..

In even BETTER news for the dreamers, Nigam got his training minutes for the week off the bench!!! this night could not have ended any better :D now to see who awaits in the next round!

Congrats to the winners, commiserations to those who lost!

i was hoping to actually get a good team and end my cup campaign this week.. having difficulty managing minutes at the moment, and with 3 big games this week it is gonna be a real challenge, especially the way bainsy is spending :P

I just like to get through first round of cup, it keeps the fans happy :D

haha your not very ambitious. surely you would wish to progress as far as you can in the cup.

i got sasatroopers and the mighty Smeltz to handle. might have to pencil in a 'L'

ambitious yes of course.. realistic.. even more so... i enjoy the 50k each week, but i am havin a horrible time managing minutes :D

I think in my 2nd season i somehow jagged my way to the round of 64, havent been close since..

haha yeh i am struggling because for the whole start of the season i have only had 8 players bit hard to manage those minutes. may have a bit easier time with 10. would like 12 but will wait for the right player
