No, he works elsewhere now. I go to gym with him multiple times a week and play on the same bball team (and I had dinner with him last night) so I have told him a few times in person as well as email.

Think he wanted to make an ABBL run but wasn't ready for it and is now idling away until he decides what to do - has lost the interest due to it.

As I said in our Federation making the run to the ABBL requires a very serious bankroll. When you look this seasons four promotees Chumunga, CROCKERS, Guanzheng Goldfish and me as well as Northcote Slammers who came very close you notice something in common. Chumunga, CROCKERS and Northcote Slammers had multiple seasons of tanking to save up the money to make it to the ABBL. I had one season of tanking in the ABBL itself. Only the Guanzheng Goldfish have been competitive for the last several seasons but they still did it with a cut price team that had pathetic big men but strong guards thus having much lower salaries than most of us stuck paying big men a fortune so we can constantly play LI.

Yes the ACT Blaze and Urmummas are out, that means that we may need to scramble for teams in the next couple of days. If anyone knows anyone that is interested then please let us know as soon as possible. There is still Crazy Australian who expressed interest and I have always said he would be a perfect Shark.

The East now has 11 teams all ready to go. A couple of issues in the West and South but the big one is we need replacements for Urmammas and ACT Blaze so anyone with an idea we would love to hear now. I keep telling Koop Crazy Australian is a good option.
