There´s no point in use averages in all categories but not use in jump range. LeBron would be a proficient, prominent jump range. 33% from deep is a killer for him.

This is totally insane. I bet LeBron can't do this.

Lebron has better range than Bryant, who in turn probably has a better jump shot (at least right now) than Lebron does. So if anything, you have these backwards.

Kobe is not a legendary defender. Sorry, but he just isn't.

Driving: A. Stoudemire

really? I don't think you know what driving is. There are at least twenty or thirty players in the NBA _right now_ who are better at driving to the hoop than Amare. Stoudemire is an excellent finisher, but receving a bounce pass from Nash and going up for an uncontested dunk is not driving. Think Kobe. Think Lebron. Think Dwayne Wade. Those guys can take the ball outside the arc and go past 3 different guys on their way to the hoop.

Inside Shot: L. Bird

Nope. I love Larry bird. But even on the team he played with, he wasn't the best inside scorer, Kevin McHale was. Larry was great because (like Lebron James is doing now) he could do a bunch of things well, including things people didn't expect from his position. But he wasn't a "give me the ball on the low block and get out of my way" player, which is what a legendary Inside Shot player would be.

This is an excellent list, one of the best I've seen. Any disagreement is mere quibbling. I wouldn't put Bruce Bowen on the list, and I find it odd that no one ever lists Scottie Pippen. Dennis Rodman belongs on any list for both rebounding and inside defense. That is not the same as saying he's better than Chamberlain. I would put Bogues on the Handling list.

Not sure why everyone is in love with Jose Calderon. He had that big streak, but I don't feel like he's even in the top 5 or 10 all time. This past year he shot 79% from the line. You're right on with Price Nash and Barry, but then you should have Reggie Miller and Larry Bird. Those guys all shot 88% or better for their _career_.

Still, one of the best lists on this thread. Kudos.

People fail to understand, that jump range is not "technically" the same as jump shot accuracy. Maybe in this game but for real, jump range is the ability to shoot from long distance. I've seen people in real games saying they had "good range", but they looked like catapults, missing the backboard or do some air balls.

Lebron takes actual jumpshots from over 30 feet, even 40. If that's not range... I don't know what it is. As for the video from Europe, that's a throw, because I failed to see the actual "jump" in it... but that's another thing. ;-)

No,that's not range,also Dwight Howard can score some basket form the half-court,but it doesn't give him the title of good jump range shooter
Lebron is capable of scoring a lot of from almost every position in the court,but there's a reason if who had to defend against him try to force him to shoot behind the arc,because he's not always so accurate in it

No, you're failing to understand the concept of "Jump Range". Jump Range isn't about how far you can take a jump shot from, it's about how consistently you can make a jump shot from distance, in this case, beyond the 3 point line. He doesn't even have a consistent mid-range game yet and you're talking about legendary jump range?
