3 managers. Though the eagles doing it in season 3 probably barely counts anymore :p.


Doubles;

Eagles x 1
BLS x 3
WB x 1

In the 25 seasons that this league has been around for, winning both cup and league has happened 5 times. So on ave it happens 1 in 5 seasons. It's been 5 seasons since the last double, so we are due for 1. However, the league this season is very tough between the top teams, so perhaps unlikely.

Reality is that ive never ever won anything of consequence, so to win either a cup or the ABBL league would be great, to even briefly contemplate winning both in the one season would be fantasizing.

Like I say Dire has an extra 200k in salaries than what I do and has already beaten me once..

For the record; Stone Slashers forgot to set a team against me
I had HCA against Aussie and he played Schneider for 48mins at PG
I had HCA against Immortals

Just been consistent rather than overly good

Whilst this is technically true, I kind of want teams to think otherwise so that they wont try and will concede me games and points difference.

Ofcourse I know that Aussie and Dire are both awake to me

Couldnt help but notice that Dire rested both Pradip and Lonergan from tonights game against Koops.

I guess he is saving their minutes for his game against Home Axis

Bloody smart move indeed... he pretty much caught two birds with one stone.
If I had known he would have done that I would've I would've played played starters against him and steal a win.

Now all Direwolf needs to do is TIE and away versus the bot Home Axis for an easy away win. And then CT his Cup game against you to secure this seasons Cup title cos that game is pretty much the Cup grand finals. I don't see anyone else challenging either Direwolf or you.

Goodluck to the both of youse on Thursday night.

He out read you.

i.e He predicted what you were going to do but you weren't able to read what he was going to do.

Of the 2 of use he certainly has had the better draw this week.

Cup game v me on his home court and lead in league games v Koops and Home Axis where as I had HSD (who did try and steal a win against me) and YPB.

Might have to be you Koops or CCat or another ABBL team who buys in some monsters, that will get to stand in the way of Dire collecting his annual silverware

Dire just may be my Kryptonite

You do have the flexibility of playing your back-ups as starters v my team and still keep top spot overall. Then you can really test your team out on Thursday and see where your team is at. This also should help out with form instead of giving up training to train GS. Don't forget, only one league match next week, with a possible 2 cup games. Those 3 matches also helps out with training. IF you don't give it a go, you'll never know. Just saying.
